The Schanskraal Private Estate & Welbech Arabian Stud was once again proud to host the Schanskraal F.E.I. Endurance Ride in 2011.

Over the years The Schanskraal F.E.I. Endurance Ride has become a foremost annual event, well attended by riders from across South Africa and neighbouring countries and one where new records are set and previous ones broken.

During the 2007 Schanskraal Endurance Ride the fastest time on record in South Africa was achieved, a time of 6 hrs 2 mins ridden over a distance of 120km and in 2009 Leanne won the 120km ride in a South Africa record time of 5 hrs 38mins 5 secs. 

Under the F.E.I. and E.R.A.S.A regulations we offer 80km, 120km and 160km events over a horse friendly course. The terrain and supporting facilities are highly praised by officials, organisers and participants and are of a high standard, boasting a spacious ablution block, extensive grass areas for camping, marquee tents and new horse paddocks.
